On Tuesday 22nd of December 09:
Niccie our beloved family pooch had a rapid decline in health so I traveled home to Canberra to say goodbye.
The vet made a home visit and we all sat outside in the garden underneath his favorite tree and gave him cuddles and kisses goodbye as Mum held him and he fell asleep forever. Mum cut some of his curls off for each of us to keep and we wrapped him up in his little winter jacket and lowered him into his final resting place, his favorite place in the garden to sleep. He was 15 and lived a very happy and pampered life. I will miss him very much, and will never forget him and the things he did. When I was crying or sad he would come sit next to me, put his little paw on my leg and lick my tears to comfort me.

My mother just informed me it is my biological fathers 50th birthday today. I havn't seen him or spoken to him since I was 8 years old.

So yeah I'm obese, big whoop wanna fight about it?......lol
My cousin came to stay for a night. It was lovely to see her yadda yadda yadda

I'm thinking I will take a picture of myself because I have found that I cannot trust my judgment when looking in a mirror. Although I know it's going to make me miserable but perhaps it will give me some perspective on my body.

In other news, I am attending the Hilltops Suicide Prevention Network dinner tonight. I have nothing to wear as usual, one of the perils of being a fatty. *sigh* I guess I will pair my black pencil skirt with a nice red cardigan and heels, jazz it up with some accessories.
It should be fun, even if I am going by myself. Apparently I have to bring a box of tissues because one of the speakers is a real tear jerker.

I should update more regularly now that I have afew lj friends, Hello by the way :)

I'm traveling to Canberra today to see my family and co. Tonight I will be going out for dinner with mates, I must remain sober enough to not let my control go at dinner and eat the whole resturant.

I want to take my little brother to see 'UP' at some stage, I have to be careful with my money, so I'll pop some popcorn at home etc..
I can't wait to see him!

I got a job at Mitre 10, (Hardware store). I start next Monday. Yes I will be selling chainsaws!, I'll be like "This chainsaw is alright for wood, but this bad boy over here is the best for flesh and bone"  hahahahaha

In other news, Zoe* has finished detox at the hospital and is about to go into Karalika (intense rehab). I want her to gain as much as she can out of the next 12 months, she deserves to be happy and without pain. I am going to make her a care package filled with magazines, photos, toys and silly putty etc. to keep her amused.

Oh, I got a HD for my oral presentation and group discussion facilitation!. I'm really happy with that but now I have to move on to the major assessment tasks which are quite a bit more involved.

I really should go pack for the trip, but I am gonna go play Sims 3 like a loser instead. lol
